Kiddies Cave Pre-school

Kiddies Cave pre-school was established with the aim of providing quality care and education to children between the ages of 3 months to 6 years.  We focus on a variety of co-curricular as extra-curricular activities apart from paying strong attention to the foundation phase requirements of our children. Kiddies Cave has a strict policy of only hiring qualified and experienced teachers, ensuring the highest standards of education and mentoring.The ratio at each classroom is 15 children to a qualified teacher and a caregiver.

The school is equipped with all the facilities that one would need to ensure the best exposure to core academic concepts and practices to children. With well-equipped library offering a wide varieties of books,magazines and other learning material.We ensure variety in care and education while ensuring steady focus on enhancing the potential and well being of each child. Our History

Kiddies Cave pre-school was established by  a visionary educator, who realized that it was never enough to just complete syllabus and declare children ready for the primary school. Her vision of education as a world-changing force came out of this realization. Unless children were prepared to become better rounded individuals, physically,emotionally spiritually and holistically,education would have failed in its duty. 

Kiddies Cave was founded to create a center for quality all-round education. We started off with less than ten children. After that, year after year, Kiddies Cave grew with our children, until, in a few years, it boasted over fifty kids. Kiddies Cave is today counted among the best pre-schools in Kew.Many of our children have excelled at both private and public schools. Our Curriculum follows a mixture of  South African as well as USA curriculum. Over the years, we examined various syllabi for their ability to offer the best to our students and have decided to affiliate ourselves with both. Apart from the core syllabus, however, Kiddies Cave has made significant additions to the curriculum in terms of compulsory extra- and co-curricular training and mentoring, apart from mandatory visits to the library and study trips to various locations of academic interest like airports, JHB Zoo,Gold Reef City & historical sites. Our Faculty Kiddies Cave prides itself on its world-class faculty. All of our teachers have qualifications in the subjects they teach, and are qualified teachers. Experience levels range from six years (for the junior staff) to over 10years (for the senior staff.) With separate staff members for each academic level, Kiddies Cave offers a comprehensive feedback and information sharing mechanism to ensure that children are ready for each level of education as they progress from level to level.

We understand the need to keep a steady look-out for their well being, and have in place a setup that ensures that any unforeseen event can be handled efficiently. Kiddies Cave maintains a medical and sick room fully-stocked with medication and first aid for the common ailments that affect children. We also have a doctor near Balfour Park shopping center to attend to minor health problems that children might face during school hours. In case of any major accident, the closest hospital is 7 minutes away for expert care, and the child's parents are informed immediately.
